SYMPHONY OF TRANSMUTATION

I'm currently interested in creating an installation/performance mixing performative experience and sculptural installation in clay and mycelium, exploring symbiotic relationships between the fungal world, the animal world and the human world. I'm interested in the fusion of two bodies entering into symbiosis and the colonization of one body by another. I'm interested, among other things, in the feminist utopias of frictional science fiction, the trans-species identities addressed in Donna J. Haraway's Camilla's Stories, the trans-species representations of certain Surrealist painters, and the dystopias of human/non-human fusion in certain horror or dystopian films.

TRY OUTS AND INSPIRATIONS

A body that moves is a body that dances, no one has the legitimacy to name what is and is not a body suitable for dancing. Follow boredom without judgement. Cultivate empathy to create connections.  Don’t be afraid of radical ideas, but don't chase radicality. The human experience is universal. Condemn the inaccessible. Do not create in order to place yourself above the one receiving your work, art is not a celebration of its creators.
